It’s another exciting day at Velocity Machine as we continue to grow. Today we took delivery of our new Horizontal Machining Center – the ultra high speed Kitamura HX250iG. It is our the fourth machine add of 2021 and the first of an additional four machines that will be delivered over the next four months.
The HX250iG has a BT30 Dual Contact 15,000RPM Spindle, fine pitch ballscrews and 67 million pulse encoder. With Positioning (+/-0.000078″), Repeatability (+/-0.000039″) and ultra high speed rapid feed rates (2,362ipm), Velocity will be able to offer an even more competitive advantage to our valued customers.
